Zerodha vs My Value Trade – Point by Point Comparison

Zerodha and My Value Trade differ vastly from each other. The most striking point that one can see while comparing these two brokers is the fact that Zerodha charges a sum of Rs. 300 for opening a trading account online, however My Value Trade does that for free. Zerodha, despite being a new online discount broker, gives a decent fight to My Value Trade. Zerodha has lower prices for opening a demat account when compared to My Value Trade.

My Value Trade offers a consistent price range for all brokerage charges for online share trading at Rs. 10 per executed order however Zerodha offers two options to opt for brokerage charges. It charges 0.01% or Rs. 20 per executed charge.

Zerodha offers a variety of transaction charges depending on the various exchanges you deal with. However, My Value Trade has set a consistent standard for the transaction charges and takes Rs. 10 for corresponding equity.

The brokers work well on all the platforms and Zerodha uses ‘PI’ as the trading platform whereas, My Value Trade opts for MVT Trader. The fight that Zerodha gives My Value Trade in terms of services and rates is appreciable.
